Maya Huyana (YAH) is an independent artist from the Inland Empire, CA.

 

In 2016 she self-released 4 mixtapes, including Paralysis of Analysis; her debut LP Rebirth dropped Sept. 27, 2017. Rebirth has been described by critics as "Lauryn Hill channeling Gil Scott Heron" and "the best debut project of 2017." In 2017 Mayah landed a deal with Alpha Pup Records as the only female hip-hop talent on The Order Label.

 

Yayah’s unique sound blends soulful vocals ("Mayah's Jam") with a merciless hiphop bass-line ("A La Carte") that can take any listener on an adventure into the dynamic sound-waves of southern California. 

 

Yah's live show is exceptional, and has led her to grace the same stages as: Ill Camille, DayLyt, Audio Push, and Willie B. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles, creating both in the forefront and behind the scenes in the music, film, and modeling industries. Her highly anticipated project GOLD released Oct 1, 2018 and is available on all major streaming platforms.
